Kyabram & District Health Services has been awarded the prestigious Premier's Award for the Rural Health Service of the Year 2009.
The Premier’s Awards for the most outstanding health services of the year are the most prestigious accolades to which a Victorian health service can aspire. The awards are designed to recognise those health services who display exceptional leadership and excellence in the provision of publicly-funded healthcare for the Victorian community.
The Premier's Awards are part of the Victorian Public Healthcare Awards presented every year, in a number of different categories.
Members of the Kyabram & District Health Service team where on hand at the Gala Evening to accept the award form the Premier Mr John Brumby.
Kyabram & District Health Services was a finalist in last years awards receiving the "Highly Commended" award. This years award is further testiment to Kyabram & District Health Services never ending commitment to excellence in healthcare.
