The Loddon Mallee Rural Health Alliance is one of five rural alliances operating under a Joint Venture Agreement effective 1st July 2008.

Each foundation member is involved in the provision of health services and is funded by the State Government of Victoria.

The Foundation members have agreed to enter into a joint venture to improve their joint capability and capacity to use and acquire information and communications technology products and services and thereby improve provider and client services.

Each Alliance is established and operates in accordance with the Rural Public health Care Agencies Alliances Policy and other policies of the Department of Human Services as in force from time to time.

Primary objectives are to develop and implement Core Products and Services and participate in Department of Human Services’ programs such as HealthSmart and other appropriate programs provide under any auspice.

Virtual Trauma and Critical Care Unit   Connecting Clients 2 Care   minilogo.gif
The Virtual Trauma and Critical Care project will provide support for local regional doctors, in smaller towns, dealing with trauma or specialist cases, by linking them via video conferencing and super fast broadband equipment. Go to the ViTCCU website...
The Connecting Clients 2 Care project will deploy and utilise remote patient monitoring (RPM) and mobile video support (MVS) technology for health workers across the Loddon Mallee region.
