Loddon Mallee Health Alliance

LMHA Network Ltd (known as Loddon Mallee Health Alliance (LMHA)) is a governance entity that represents the ICT interests of 16 hospitals and 65 health agencies located at 160 sites across 41 towns throughout the Loddon Mallee Region.

The Loddon Mallee region covers 25% of Victoria’s land mass over which LMHA has implemented high speed broadband services to over 160 rural and remote sites. The network will principally deliver the LMHA’s own needs and overcome the paucity and high cost of competitive broadband services in the Region.

The  network is based on a broadband IP WAN infrastructure that supports connectivity between agencies and allows connectivity to centralised resources and applications, as well advanced voice, video and data services. The network will leverage the power of IP and provide new functionality and value for whole of government health service delivery.

The LMHA is responsible for the implementation of the combined Regional PCP ICT strategy and the I2T2 Strategic plan - now called the LMHA ICT Strategy.
